Healthshare partners with Rosslyn Park FC to provide specialist medical services for elite rugby team

Rosslyn Park FC have appointed the Healthshare Clinic West London to provide specialist medical services inducing diagnostics for the National League 1 Rugby team. Healthshare will also support the wider club, including the women’s rugby team and netball squad.  

This partnership is a three-year deal, which will see Healthshare provide access to industry-leading clinicians and facilities, supporting Rosslyn Park FC’s medical team, to help the squad play at optimal performance.  

The Healthshare Clinic West London, formerly known as The Riverside Clinic, is a state-of-the-art hospital offering easy access to the highest level of specialist medical care and diagnostic imaging. The clinic works with private and NHS patients along with elite sports teams in the local and wider community.  This clinic offers a variety of services across specialties including sports medicine, orthopedics, ophthalmic surgery, endoscopy and diagnostics in a welcoming and comfortable clinical setting. The clinic is easy to access, situated just 5 miles from Rosslyn Park FC, and offers free parking.

About Rosslyn Park FC 

Rosslyn Park Football Club was established in 1879 and is, and has always been, a not-for-profit community-based rugby club. Park has been based at ‘The Rock’ in Roehampton, SW London, since 1957.  

Each week the club enables in excess of 1,000 local girls, boys and adults to play rugby with teams at every age group, together with five men’s XVs, a women’s XV as well as three netball squads. The club is at the forefront internationally of developing school and youth rugby with Park staging the Rosslyn Park National School 7s which attracts over 10,000 children each year from 850 schools across the UK and the world, who all descend on SW15 for a week in March for the world’s largest school rugby tournament. The tournament was inaugurated in 1939 

The club’s First XV currently plays in the third tier of English rugby, the National One division. Famous past players include Andy Ripley, Danny Cipriani, Nick Easter, Phil Keith-Roach, Martin Offiah, Prince Alexander Obolensky and the actor, Oliver Reed.
