Mr Burbos is a highly skilled laparoscopic surgeon. He has been a Consultant Gynaecologist at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital since 2012. During this time, he has significantly advanced the array of surgical options available to patients. He has completed training in extensive surgery for patients diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In recognition of this expertise, he has been invited to teach colleagues at both national and international workshops.

Mr Burbos is keen to advance his practice through research. He has published several papers in international gynaecological journals and presented at national and international conferences. His main areas of research include development of pathways for the management of women with postmenopausal bleeding, ovarian cancer surgery and postmenopausal hormone therapy. Mr Burbos regularly reviews submissions for a range of medical journals.
