Dr. Bakshi has over 20 years of experience as a Psychiatrist. He is a Fellow of Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych) and is on the General Medical Council’s Register as a Specialist in General Adult Psychiatry and Substance Misuse Psychiatry. He is approved under Sec 12(2) of the Mental Health Act as having special expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. Dr. Bakshi has extensive experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist delivering care to working age adults with a range of mental illness and disorders. Additionally, he is experienced in the assessment and treatment of Perinatal mental illnesses.

He is on the Executive committee of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Eastern Division and has held other positions of responsibility including Deputy Medical Director and College Tutor. Currently, he is on the Board of a national charitable organisation delivering care to people with mental illness and substance misuse.
