Dr Ike Nnene is an experienced family doctor who brings an empathetic approach to his practice. He has experience of held hospital posts in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Medicine, Psychiatry, Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine. In addition, he is a Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician who employs the principles of lifestyle medicine in helping his patients. He has a passion for positive health and whole person wellness.

He has an interest in metabolic medicine, mental health and wellness, men’s health, women’s health, and personalised medicine. He can offer a second opinion on any individual health problem. He is interested in lifestyle and nutritional approaches in the management of long-term conditions and interventions to hasten recovery from covid-19.

He has worked as a GP partner since 2010 with clinical leadership roles including safeguarding and mental health leads. His other roles have included Clinical Lead in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney Commissioning Group for the newly introduced NHS 111 service in 2011/2. He has previously been member of the Norfolk Local Medical Council (LMC). He has taught medical undergraduates as GP Tutor for Cambridge and University of East Anglia medical schools. He is the current Vice-Chair of the East Anglia Faculty of the Royal College of GPs.
