Phoebe has had a varied and successful career in radiography to date, including both NHS and private practice. She progressed to senior operational and people management positions. She joined Healthshare as a Senior MRI Radiographer, and she was soon promoted to her current role as Imaging Lead. In her role, Phoebe leads the department and her responsibilities include ensuring the health and safety of her teams and patients, people management, training, performing scans on patients including elite athletes and setting up and managing new services as the business grows. 

Phoebe has an interesting academic background, with qualifications in both the humanities and radiography, in addition to an MBA. She has worked extensively in both NHS and private care settings.
 

“For me, I love the diversity of the kind of patients that I work with through Healthshare. It’s the perfect mix of working with both NHS and private patients, who are very grateful for what you do, however working for Healthshare gives me more opportunities to make suggestions for ways we can do things better and take ownership of those projects. 

Though there is a team structure, it doesn’t feel hierarchical and it’s very friendly. I’ve gained a lot of different experiences in my career but I’ve still found opportunities to learn new things through Healthshare. For example, I received fantastic training in how to deliver DEXA (bone density) scans, which was completely new to me, and now we run an effective new service.”
