Cezaria Kuncewicz-Gardiner

Advanced Ultrasound Practitioner – Mobile diagnostic Services

Cezaria joined Healthshare in 2017 (formerly Global Diagnostics Ltd). Since then, she has thrived and progressed in her career while embarking on further academic studies. Cezaria works predominantly in our mobile diagnostic service, traveling across the UK delivering ultrasound scans at community clinics and prison sites.

Prior to her work at Healthshare, Cezaria followed a more traditional path having attained a First-Class BSc Honours degree in Radiography at The University of Leeds. During her studies she worked within major fast pace trauma centres providing her with an impressive range of experiences. Since then, she moved to a community-based NHS hospital where she worked for four years. During this time, Cezaria also worked privately performing 3D obstetric scans and specialised in pelvic fertility examinations for patients undergoing fertility treatment and completed her phlebotomy course. In addition to her responsibilities for Healthshare, she obtained a musculo-skeletal ultrasound qualification and has since achieved a Masters in Diagnostic Imaging, with distinction, supported and funded by Healthshare.

Cezaria has seen her role evolve during her time with the company. Presently as the clinical ultrasound lead for the mobile diagnostics service, Cezaria co-ordinates a team of Sonographers who cover over thirty sites across the country including community clinics and prison sites. Due to the high-risk nature of Cezaria’s work, staff safety is a priority whilst ensuring all patients are examined to a high standard. She supervises sonographers, ensuring they are inducted and welcomed to the company and is actively involved in auditing and training.

“I really enjoy my role at Healthshare – it is highly varied working across diverse settings, particularly in high-risk clinical environments where I have had to deal with extremely sensitive information and cases as well as unique pathology. This variance affords me the opportunity to work with a new multidisciplinary team on a daily basis which excites me. It is a pleasure to work with such a hard-working and motivated team at Healthshare and I am grateful for the flexible working pattern as well as the training and opportunities that have arisen.”
