Aurelio joined Healthshare as a Senior Radiographer at the Winchester Clinic in December 2021. His role involves MRI scanning and giving technical support to the imaging manager. Day to day tasks involve patient safety checks, image processing and assisting other radiographers with their training and inductions.

Aurelio’s career journey is an interesting one. Starting out in construction and engineering in Taiwan, South Korea and the Philippines, Aurelio completed a BSc in Electrical Engineering. After moving to the UK, Aurelio initially worked as a hospital porter before embarking on an NHS funded programme to gain a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography from the University of Portsmouth.

“After working within the NHS for a very enjoyable 18 years, I joined Healthshare because I wanted a fresh challenge and to experience working for a private practice clinic. I’m enjoying the company of happy, enthusiastic and excellent professionals. For me, not working night shifts or odd weekend hours is really beneficial – it means I can see my family and have a better work/life balance.”
