Joint Chief Executive Officer

As Co-founder and joint CEO, Neil is responsible for setting the companies vision, aims and strategy to integrate with interfacing community and acute services and leading Healthshare’s involvement in primary care networks. Neil has an in-depth understanding of the healthcare sector in terms of service design and delivery having established the vanguard multidisciplinary pain and spinal services in the mid 1990’s in London. He has held leadership and advisory roles within the NHS and Independent sectors and currently supports the newly formed South Westminster Primary Care Network in Central London as Vice Chair. A proud Londoner with a circuitous route into healthcare via the performing arts

Nick McGrath

Joint Chief Executive Officer

As Co-founder and joint CEO, Nick is responsible for setting and leading the company growth strategy linked to joint venture partnering, acquisitions and vertical integration while leading on investor and commercial relationships. Nick has an in-depth understanding of the healthcare sector in terms of clinical delivery and management developed through his 26 years in clinical practice. He has held leadership and advisory roles within the NHS and Independent sectors as part of clinical advisory groups in areas as diverse as pathology, diagnostics and integrated community services. Originally from Ireland, Nick moved to London to study at Kings College London

John Yates

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, John is responsible for Healthshare’s accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance and investor relations.

Sen Kandiah

Commercial Director

As Commercial Director Sen leads on new site and service line development across the Healthshare Group having previously set up 29 highly successful diagnostic and healthcare centres over the last 25 years. Sen is CMA qualified accountant and has an in-depth knowledge of the diagnostics sector both nationally and internationally having previously held senior positions with Lodestone Patient Care and subsequently building and successfully exited the MDI Group in partnership with Barclays Ventures. Sen sits on the National Policy Forum of the Labour Party and was a member of Better Politics Commission

Andy Watson

Managing Director- Clinical Services

As MD of Healthshare Clinical Services Andy is responsible for the national delivery of MSK and related services to Clinical Commissioning Groups. Andy has been with Healthshare for over 5 years and prior to supporting the growth of the business he has had a 25-year career in business and NHS commissioning and strategic delivery. He has a naturally inquisitive approach and has been a technology adopter since the 1980s. When he’s not leading the Clinical Services Team, you’ll find him on two wheels or sculpting in wood though seldom at the same time.

Simon Oates

Managing Director- Diagnostic Services

As MD of Healthshare Diagnostics Simon is responsible for radiology and endoscopy delivery, has over 25 years’ experience in NHS & Private diagnostics in the UK – across primary and secondary care. Before joining Healthshare, Simon founded a successful UK based diagnostic business in 2009 which he exited in 2016. Simon has successfully led many funding rounds, across SEIS, EIS, HNWI, Debt and Private Equity and completed his MBA in 2009. Simon qualified as a radiographer in 1997 in Manchester, and fills his spare time as a keen sailor and a director of Sussex YC.

KP Doyle

Chair

As Chair, KP is responsible for Healthshare’s corporate governance and guiding the executive team with key decision making on the group’s strategic direction and investments. He is a keen advocate of board to ward corporate responsibility in healthcare and putting the patient at the centre of everything we do. KP has a wealth of experience in multi site healthcare services – from running hospitals to gym chains – and much in between. He is also an experienced board operator and healthcare investor, specialising in growth businesses with focus on innovation in outcomes driven and evidence based care.

George Tsangarides

Non-Executive Director

As a non-executive director George is responsible for supporting the executive in identifying and completing new investment opportunities and developing organic growth strategy. George is the lead investor for BGF in its investment in Healthshare. In this role, George is responsible for identifying and completing new investment opportunities as well as continuing to work with the boards of BGF’s investee companies. Prior to BGF, George advised a number of large cap companies in fundraising and M&A as an investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He holds a MA Oxon in PPE from Oxford University and an MSc in Finance from LSE. George’s free time is spent with his young family.

Chris Morgan

Board Member

Chris Morgan works at BGF as an Investor in the London Growth team. He has completed investments across a broad range of sectors, but works primarily in Healthcare and Hospitality & Leisure. Chris worked on the original Healthshare transaction in June 2019 and had a in-depth understanding of the company and its strategy for growth. Prior to BGF, Chris ran his own artisanal food business in Winchester before qualifying as Chartered Accountant in Deloitte’s Transaction Services practice in London. He continues to take a keen interest in entrepreneurship and is an alumnus of the NEF Fast Track programme.
