Mr Simon Thompson graduated from Imperial College London and specialises in all aspects of knee surgery including acute ligament injuries.

Mr Thompson is only the second UK orthopaedic surgeon to have been invited to join the highly prestigious Australian Knee Surgeon. His research is highly regarded and he regularly lectures internationally. His ACL research won the best paper award at the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He has medically represented First Class and International Rugby and Football teams.

Simon is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and distinguished in having been appointed and awarded as a Research Fellow at the Royal College and Senior Honorary Clinical lecturer at Imperial College London. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA); British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK) and one of only two International members of the highly prestigious Australian Knee Society (AKS).
