Mr Omar Al Kadhi

Consultant Urological Surgeon
Qualifications: MBChB, PhD, FRCS (Urol)

Mr Al Kadhi completed his Specialist Urological training in the East of England gaining experience in General Urology and Urological Oncology. He spent the latter years of his training focusing on the management of urological cancers working in Cambridge and Norwich. Mr Al Kadhi undertook fellowship training in robotic surgical oncology at University College London Hospital (UCLH) one of the busiest Urological Robotic centres in the UK.

He started work in Norwich as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in 2018 with a primary interest in the management of Urological Cancers. He is now the Urology Cancer Lead and Chair of the Urology Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Meeting at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.

During his training Mr Al Kadhi was awarded a prestigious Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) grant to study the effect of diet on prostate cancer. He gained a PhD for his research from the University of East Anglia. He has presented his work internationally and published articles in peer reviewed journals.
