Mr Köhler’s main areas of expertise are cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery as well as none-surgical treatments.

The most common procedures he carries out are are breast surgery (enlargement, reduction and lift) as well as abdominoplasties (tummy tucks) and other post weight loss surgeries (thigh lift, arm lift etc.) In addition to these procedures under general anaesthetic Mr Köhler performs blepharoplasty, labiaplasty, otoplasty, scar revision, nipple inversion and removal of small lesions such as warts, moles, cysts and skin cancer under local anaesthetic. Additionally, Mr Köhler has experience of hand surgery including carpal tunnel, trigger finger and Dupuytrens contracture.

Non-surgical cosmetic treatments including Botox and fillers and have been part of his practice for over twelve years.

Mr Köhler has been a consultant at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) since 2017, having completed plastic surgical residencies in Germany as well as in the USA. After becoming a board-certified plastic surgeon in 2009, he worked as a consultant at the University of Würzburg, Germany. He also leads a private clinic for aesthetic surgery.

Mr Köhler has volunteered on board the hospital ship ‘Africa Mercy’ in West Africa every year since 2002. There he and his team perform reconstructive procedures, such as severe burn contracture release, removal of large soft tissue tumours, hand surgery and congenital abnormalities.
