Mr Andrew Cossey is a consultant orthopaedic knee surgeon, and has provided a private knee service for over 15 years on the South Coast. His private practice was established in 2013 when Andrew left the NHS Trust to focus on his private work. This fully independent work pattern has enabled more time for Andrew to establish his private practice and evolve a patient focused brand that has achieved high levels of patient satisfaction.

Mr Cossey uses data led treatment strategies that result in improved patient function and pain relief, significantly improving patient’s quality of life through occupational and social activities.

Focused on delivering a quick and accurate diagnosis in order to implement the correct treatment plan, Mr Cossey will be offering one stop knee clinics at the Healthshare Clinic Winchester, to provide a fast and accurate consultation, diagnosis, and treatment plan.

During his training at King’s College London, Mr Cossey undertook training in all aspects of medical care with a specific focus to knee surgery achieving his University of London MBBS in 1992. Having worked across the South Coast for a number of years, as well as time spent in Australia in 2003 – 2004, Mr Cossey has significant experience in all aspects of knee surgery and became a Consultant Knee Surgeon for Portsmouth NHS Trust in 2005.
