Dr Vasileios Skiadas studied medicine at Thessaloniki University and served the Greek Army as a medical officer for 15 years (1996-2011). He completed his radiology training at the 401 General Military Hospital and University Hospital of Athens (2001-2006).

Dr Skiadas reports all types of musculoskeletal scans and performs all types of musculoskeletal image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures. His main interest is sports injuries imaging and in 2016 he was awarded both the Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of South Wales and the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine.

Dr Skiadas joined University Hospital Southampton as a consultant musculoskeletal and trauma radiologist in February 2013, and became the programme director for radiology training in 2018. Dr Skiadas is also the author of more than 20 papers in peer reviewed journals and radiology websites.
