Dr Smriti Saraf

Consultant Cardiologist
Qualifications: MMBS, M.Phil, MRCP, MD 

Dr Smriti Saraf is a Consultant Cardiologist trained in all aspects of General and Interventional Cardiology.

Dr Saraf completed her MRCP in 2006 and entered into a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) Research programme at the University of Hertfordshire. Her research was on assessment of thrombotic and thrombolytic status in patients admitted with an acute coronary syndrome and its relationship to clinical outcomes. She presented her research in various national and international meetings and has several publications.

She worked at various different hospitals in South London as part of her training, including Guys and St Thomas’s Hospital, St George’s Hospital and Royal Sussex County Hospital. She completed her Interventional Cardiology training in 2016, an advanced coronary intervention fellowship in Manchester and a Transcatheter aortic valve intervention fellowship at Leeds General Infirmary.

Dr Saraf is based in West London and works as a Consultant Cardiologist in Kent. She has experience of treating patients with all different cardiac presentations including chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, dizziness, and high blood pressure.

She has special interest in medicolegal work and has undergone formal Expert Witness training by Bond Solon, and is a holder of the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certification (CUBS) in Civil Law.
