Dr Neil McGill qualified in Medicine in 1989, undertaking training at the University of Southampton and the Wessex School of Anaesthesia before going on to work at the highly respected University Hospitals of Chicago and Michigan as an Associate Professor in Anaesthesiology. Dr McGill returned to the UK in 2005 and has worked at the University Hospital Southampton since.

Dr McGill is practices in a variety of sub-specialities including ophthalmic anaesthesia, interventional oncology, bariatric anaesthesia, oesophageal surgery, thoracic surgery and spinal surgical anaesthesia in children and adults.
