Dr Jonathan Brant

Consultant Radiologist
Qualifications: MA (Cantab) MB BChir MRCP FRCR

Dr Brant qualified from King’s College, Cambridge and St Thomas’ Medical School in 1989 and undertook extended hospital training in general medicine, gaining his MRCP, qualifying in radiology in 1999.

Dr Brant was appointed consultant radiologist at North Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust in 2003, and has also been a Royal College of Radiologists Tutor for Radiology Trainees in the Wessex region, and an Educational Supervisor. He has lectured and taught on internationally attended conferences and courses for fellowship trainees.

Dr Brant’s specialty is musculoskeletal radiology, using MRI, CT and ultrasound scanning in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Dr Brant uses imaging for guided intervention for effective diagnosis and treatment of conditions involving joints and tendons. He works widely with orthopaedic surgical and sports medicine colleagues both locally and in London and his work includes attending and running regular multidisciplinary meetings. He has extensive experience of diagnosing and treating high level sportspeople/athletes.
