Corticosteroid Injection Update

Pease note The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), NHS England and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) is not recommending corticosteroid injections as a part of the rehabilitation process at this stage.

Current guidance suggests that any dosage of steroid over 10mg has the potential to cause harm. Therefore until we are informed by NICE we will not be offering steroid injections, at present, within our services. We shall keep this information updated if this guidance changed.  Your understanding is appreciated.
